@ajaynemusic Yes in 1987 hardcore U2 fan I found the eagerly awaited album The Joshua Tree a little dark on first listen but that might have been because of what I was going through at the time. It went on to become my all time favourite U2 Album. Interestingly I havenโ€™t listened to them for over a decade now. Thatโ€™s a whole other thing when you fall out of love with a band!
@LizJonesMusic @radiojammor Minm is a subscription model, not unlike Spotify although cheaper for the end user and, as I mentioned, more equitable for the artist. There are no sign up fees for artists.

Check your account settings on the web-based site of your mastodon profile. There should be an Automated Post Deletion section where you can choose how long your posts remain for.
@RadioTFSC thought so! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
@RadioTFSC lol ๐Ÿ˜‚
@RadioTFSC oh yes, that may have something to do with it. Do these memories include beer or flying cars? ๐Ÿคฃ
@humbiego Maybe it also has to do with expectations you have when you listen to an album for thr first time and years later you just listen without these expectations. So you can just love the music.
@RadioTFSC yes that has happened too but not as often as the other way around. Usually when I like something it lasts for a lifetime! ๐Ÿ˜‚
