The new Macbook Neo introduction video is one of the best videos to come out of Apple in a long time. So engaging and perfect for the audience that the laptop is probably targeting.

Mastodon got it right âś…

It’s the only one where hitting the Home button doesn’t scroll to the top of the feed.
No more accidentally losing your place 🙌🏽

The fact that this search button in the App Store doesn’t shift focus to the search field and open the keyboard when tapping it shows the lack of thought that #ios26 has given to user experience.

Migrating from React to Angular: A "Ship of Theseus" case study.

We replaced a core FinTech application piece by piece while it was still in production. By moving to an opinionated platform, we improved governance and delivery speed. Read about our strategy and the Strangler Fig pattern: https://g.omid.dev/RiTgV8T

The 'Ship of Theseus' Migration: Why We Swapped React for Angular in Production

In the software world, the “Ship of Theseus” paradox is a daily reality. We replace parts of a system until, eventually, none of the original code remains. But usually, the industry moves toward the “shiny new thing.” At work, we did something that might sound like heresy to some: we migrated our core legacy React applications to Angular. This wasn’t a decision made out of fanboyism. It was a strategic move driven by the need for governance, stability, and long-term maintainability in a high-stakes FinTech environment. In this post, I’ll break down the architectural “why” and the pragmatic “how” of moving against the grain.

@atpfm #askatp why is the 'System Data' of my Mac storage so high? I migrated from a 512Gb Macbook to a 1TB using Migration Assistant and now there's 600GB+ of 'stuff' eating up my HDD.
Around 370GB is actual used space as shown by Disk Inventory X.

I've cleared all the usual suspects, have no time machine backup and nothing else obvious.

Is there a tool to clear this?

Or will macOS clean it up as it needs to?

If you've covered this before pls let me know ep number.

The whole Apple Watch segment had real Last Jedi vibes. Jeff should have tossed his watch at the end. #AppleEvent
Imagine if the Apple Vision Pro had a HDMI input so you connect your Nintendo Switch and play Tears of the Kingdom in the headset.
