If there's one missing feature of Mastodon (and the clients I use, as I suppose this could be done client side?) that I wish for almost daily, it would be having the option to subscribe to the replies of someones post without engaging myself. I find people ask interesting questions here all the time, and most often, others eventually respond with relevant answers. But scrolling chronologically from the most recent post to older ones, I so often see only questions that I too am interested in knowing answers too, but not any actual answers. I remember seeing an open issue in the Mastodon backlog when I asked about this the last time a year or two ago, but it had like 3 upvotes... so I'm not exactly holding my breath. But if anyone knows of a client, app or trick that can help with this, I'd love to hear about it 🙂
