Following Bluesky's ICE verification, I have mixed feelings. I understand their neutrality, but I'm uneasy about them becoming like X.

X's "free speech absolutism" amplified harm while suppressing marginalized voices. X wasn't about free speech - it was about who could pay.

If Bluesky repeats this, they're legitimizing harmful voices, not protecting free speech. True free speech shouldn't mean handing a megaphone to those in power.
