@atpfm re your comments about “design is not just how it looks, it’s how it works” : did you consider that it was NOT about liquid glass but about the hardware ? That what is new in, say, the iPhone Air is not just how it looks but is crucially all the new Apple silicon, materials etc that allow it to look the way it does ? With that reading, the quote makes complete sense.

@daringfireball Great link. From memory, going thru the list, I’ve tried 44. More than I thought. Some bring me back, periods in time when one or two were my favourites, later falling by wayside; others that I only had in specific bars, that I stopped going to. Fun.

@infobeautiful @stroughtonsmith Except OS usage is not like a first past the post election. Eg Ireland 50.1% iOS, all blue; Germany 45.3% iOS, all green. So as useful as those US presidential election maps showing how land voted vs people.
