@mettlife Great decision, I wish you much success.
Just a tip: skip the desktop interface entirely and start directly via SSH. Nearly all tutorials you'll find online always refer to SSH. Having a desktop GUI won't give you any advantage. The system will also be significantly leaner, faster, and more secure this way. Always remember: the fewer packages you install on Linux, the lower the risk of installing security vulnerabilities.

Da verbringste 3 Tage damit ne Python-App lokal zu entwickeln nur um dann beim Deployment festzustellen dass auf dem Zielsystem ne ältere #Python Version drauf ist, mit älteren Bibliotheken, wo dann genutzte Features noch nicht existieren 😭

"Ice" is an #opensource tool for #MacOS that acts as a menu bar management tool.

Some are looking at this now as a Bartender replacement, although this doesn't seem to be as full featured yet.

CZ.NIC set an end to #IPv4 on June 06, 2032 in the Czech Republic. This leaves operators about 3000 days to go #IPv6. As a German, I hope that this puts pressure on all European ISPs.
