This seems like a big deal.

- In early January, the Biden administration expanded Title 42 so that Cuban migrants could be expelled back across the land border into Mexico. The number of #Cuba citizens at the U.S.-Mexico border plunged 85%.

- *Meanwhile* in the Miami area in January, the number of Cuban migrants, apprehended after taking boats and rafts across the Florida Straits, jumped 260%.

Texas is the 2nd most racially diverse state in the union. Its borderlands even more so.

... and here's Texas leadership convening some guys named Greg, Brian, Steve, Tom, and Mike for a security meeting at the border yesterday.
