@daringfireball I didn’t get the ‘F1 The Movie’ ad in Apple Sports, which is fine. I have zero interest in the film. The issue with Apple Sports is that they still haven’t created a proper iPad version, to say nothing of bringing it to the Mac.

@sjsmac @daringfireball Speaking as a person who genuinely liked the free U2 album, I concur. And I have to believe the guy currently sweating in his hot dog suit is Eddy Cue himself.

On a side note, there’s so much crap coming through the notifications pipeline that I’ve set most apps to “Deliver Quietly” mode and even shut some off altogether.

The door has been reading the news.
I feel like this is wrong. Is “sim” not an acceptable truncation of “simulation”? #Quartiles
Donald John Trump, convicted felon, adjudged sex offender, and president of the United States, is in the New York Times today. #bee
@marcoarment It looks like the same approach to interface as on the Watch. Which makes sense on the Watch because (1) it’s so much smaller and (2) you can do the double-tap finger gesture to snooze on the newer Watches. On the iPhone, it’s a write-up for tardiness waiting to happen.
@daringfireball I think Disney has a harder time marketing original stories than sequels and series titles. Original movies take more creativity and effort than “Welp, here’s the new Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. Look at these actors make witty remarks while things are blowing up, don’t you want to drop $15 on a ticket?”
@marcoarment @_Davidsmith I struggle with this, as a public beta user and feedbacker. Sometimes I get to the point where I’m like, (taps microphone) “Is this thing on?”

@daringfireball “Agree with Snell’s take completely, I do.”

Jedi Master, you may become. Unclear, the future is. Small greenish goblin, you are not. Your live shows, I have seen.

@aleen So important for developers to get in on this now. By the time public beta testers like me get our at-bats, it’ll likely be too late. Especially since Apple said nothing about how they’re going to balance Liquid Glass with accessibility (the shall we say glaring problem I saw in the keynote).

Though I did once send an email to Tim Apple about Quartiles looking awful on the iPad mini, and the next thing you know, they got it right. Correlation is not causation, mind you. ;)
