@castropodcasts Hello you write in the blog post that you want to expand your user base. I am spending a lot time in Overcast Reddit where people don’t fully like the new version. Almost everyone seems to go to Pocket Cast. I read several times that people don’t consider Castro because it needs subscription to be used. Consider basic features like trim silence and voice boost in free version. Trial option seemed to be overlooked.

@feebdaed @overcastfm I wish swipe actions could be customizable like in many email programs. From all the reactions I think it is clear that individual users have many diverse preference and with fixed setup can’t please them all.

@overcastfm force quitting or refresh syncing doesn’t help here. Should I supply logs or something ?

@overcastfm just got the new version. Unfortunately, syncing doesn’t seem to work properly. I don’t see any of my podcasts. Downloading episodes seems stuck :(

@castropodcasts great news! I am also happy to report that one of my more niche German football podcasts finally was updated automatically for the first time in a long time! I’m back to using Castro as my main podcast player again.
