@glennf the irony is that there is already a lot of references online. The trouble it's having, I think, is distinguishing between types of BASIC as there are so many.
@glennf Yet ask it to produce an answer in BBC BASIC and it's lacking. Was mixing in other (and obviously all inferior) 8-Bit BASIC interpreter code for other platforms (C64 or Sinclair for example).
As for modern day stuff I purely use ChatGPT to give me a starting inspiration for JS and Python etc. but I've always ended up writing my own code.
It's very good for inspiration.
