@uncomfyhalomacro I think there are some ways:
1. Donations
2. Sell support has to users
3. open source only the core app or lib and sell some extra stuff.
4. Sell the knowledge about the Lib/app and/or create custom solutions (sqlite as example do that)

and ask open source projects for info.

I'm not really deep in informed in the topic of #redhat closing #opensource.
But my question is how this will influence other open source projects like #podman that was backed and developed with the help of redhat.
Did someone know something?
