@atpfm welp it finally happened. Woke up early to work on my app, coffee in hand, then coffee all over my desk and all over my @cortexbrand notebook. My first thought was @siracusa said this would happen!
@twostraws Just read your announcement email. I’ve never wanted to preorder a book so bad!
While listening to last weeks @atpfm Overtime I got caught in an infinite Siri loop. During the discussion of how bad Siri is, every time @marcoarment would say “Siri” it would activate. While that’s not uncommon, once I resumed playback @overcastfm would rewind just far enough to capture the spoken “Siri” again. This went on and on and gave me a great chuckle haha
@atpfm there are a few better feelings than waking up to see a nearly 3 hour bootleg in my feed. Today’s gonna be a good day.
🚀 Looking for part-time or subcontracting iOS Development work. I have experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Firebase, Supabase, and more. Available for 10-15 hours per week. Let’s build something great!
@marcoarment @caseyliss just spent 5 min trying to connect my MacBook to my hotspot 😩 we need cellular on the Mac!
Me on the bug that has stumped me for longer than I care to post publicly lol https://y.yarn.co/9023b087-eebb-4f6c-a388-98adce8b4306_text.gif

The transition back into working life after a break I always find challenging, so over the years I've developed a handful of "tricks" to help me get moving again.

One of which is my "Accomplish *One* Thing" rule, which helps me to start building up my working inertia again.

I wrote up my approach here in the hopes that it might help anyone else staring into the wide-open expanse of work and feeling rather daunted by it.

So normally I try to go to only local coffee shops but I broke my rule. I forgot to scan to get my points (which are practically worthless). This is so blatantly anti consumer it’s astounding
Feeling very good about my work this morning. Improved my app’s safety and added a feature! Not bad for an hour and a half!
