Steph PiperI'm super excited to finally have my Geodesic Dome project complete. It's now a cosy study space at my University Library, perfect for winter study. It's made from upcycled cardboard from TV boxes and corflute from local election signage, and held together with zipties and tarp eyelets. To make the design, I 3D modelled it in Rhino software with the Polyhedra plugin, then put the model into Pepakura papercraft software to create paper templates that were then hand cut (alas, no laser cutter!)

The reason it even is an issue is because timetables are integrated, and there's a plan
Switzerland to France? No one cares, because the timetables are so damned awful and the service so thin, and all bar TGVs just get to the first station after the border anyway
So really 🤷♂️

Was für eine Schmach! In der Schweiz ist die Deutsche Bahn nur noch fürs Abstellgleis zugelassen. Die stolzen Eurocity-Züge aus Hamburg beziehungsweise Dortmund dürfen ab sofort nur noch bis zum Grenzbahnhof Basel fahren. Passagiere, die bis zu den Zielstationen Interlaken-Ost und Zürich...
