After 10 years without riding, I bought a #motorcycle again… and what a liberation! I'm rediscovering the thrill, the joy, the grin under the helmet. My little but brilliant #Suzuki #SV650 surprises me every ride: sharp in the corners, full of character, and that sound… a proper kick every time I shift. Vintage or not, the fun is real!.

The icons are even more beautiful.

moderation depends on the specific server or something else. I thought moderation might allow one server to block another if it lacks proper oversight, but it’s unclear to me.

Twitter(X) has been a nightmare for this kind of thing, and I’m afraid the same might happen here.

I just read the documentation about tailscale, and I still prefer ZeroTier. It offers 25 simultaneous connections, compared to only 3 with Tailscale for free. I also considered doubling for security, but no, I’ll stick with ZeroTier.

Yes, exactly! It becomes annoying and cumbersome when I try to do something just slightly outside its intended scope. That's what I mean by chiant.

To be honest, I don't like Firewalld. For me, it's a bit..... boring.... In French, I would say chiant. I don't know how to say that in English.

Tailscale as a VPN is clever. I hadn’t thought of that! NFTable syntax feels heavy, but great job on the setup. I’ll take inspiration from it to improve my config and gain more independence from providers. Thanks!

@dan_nanni
I prefer rclone; it's compatible with more services, and the sync features are really well-designed.

@murtezayesil

For my setup, I use ZeroTier (https://www.zerotier.com/, it's free) to create a private network between my home and VPS (ZeroTier creates a network adapter on your server). This way, I can avoid the dynamic IP problem, and my traffic flows through a private network. After that, I use DNAT with nftables to forward all relevant port requests to my home.

Remote port forwarding(ssh) is more simple...but it still needs to be used ddns

@eugenialoli Deepin is a Chinese distribution; I don’t understand the connection with Arch Linux. Maybe it’s an application, but I don’t know it either.
