What I am reading from the CDC today is simply crazy.
Downgrading recommendations to protect newborns from hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a dangerous decision.

All babies should receive a first dose of the hepatitis B vaccine within 24 hours of birth.

More than half of all hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) diagnosed each year, are related to HBV infection.

HBV is also a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

We shouldn't bargain with HBV vaccination!
All newborns should be vaccinated against HBV.

In a 8 weeks trial, Azelastine nasal spray was associated with reduced risk of SARS-CoV-2 respiratory infections (roughly 3 times less infection than with the placebo nasal spray). Moreover, patients using the Azelastine nasal spray also declared less symptoms when infected than infected patients in the placebo group, a lower number of respiratory infections in general, and fewer cases of rhinovirus infection.

Azelastine is available in more than 70 countries.
