I went with the 7900x because I was trying to save money and it was $550 compared to the $800 7950x.
And now a little over a month later the 7950x is down to $575.

@porousforest I’ve looked into it and apparently you can easily write songs to a cassette tape using a tape recorder. You can plug the recorder directly into your computer via 3.5mm and record the sound files that way.
I haven’t tried it yet. Just ordered the recorder a couple days ago and I’m waiting for it to arrive.
A good thing about cassette tapes having b sides is that I can download the album on one side and the album demos on the other, or when it comes to two part LPs I could download each part to a different side. It’s great to be able to separate the songs from the demos without using up a second tape.
@porousforest I haven’t even watched Stranger Things. Didn’t know they were used there, but that’s cool. I’d love to see a resurgence.
The only reason I got into it was because the CD player on my car doesn’t work well but since it’s an old car it has a working cassette player. Now I don’t think I really want to go back to CDs tbh
I have been introduced to the magic that is cassette tapes.
It’s so cheap and easy to download songs to a cassette tape and use that instead of CDs
And they have B sides. I had no idea until now.
