Twitter/X account is deactivated. My brain just cannot cope with my own cognitive dissonance of despising what is going on with that platform while simultaneously continuing to participate, if even just as a reader.

Back on the river. First SUP since Tahoe - quite a different scene, but the vibes are still good 🤙🏽 🌞

This tweet comes unironically from the GOP, which loves giant defense budgets, wants to regulate women's bodies, wishes to tell schools what they can teach, desires a 1900-mile-long border wall, wants to increase the size of police forces, thinks the government should prevent drag story hours, is trying to track young women's periods, thinks social media companies need more regulation, is banning books from libraries, and is trying to tell doctors what prescriptions they can & can't write.

Honestly, posting is helping me stick with this challenge, so I'm staying with it.

For day 10/100 (yeah!) of #the100dayproject, I wrote 1051 words, when I felt like writing ZERO. It's the small wins...

519 words for Day 9/100 of #the100dayproject, in which one of my characters attempts to tell his life story in 3 minutes (that's about 450 words).
Thinking of moving my account over to a different server. Does it really make a difference though?
Oops – I posted that yesterday was day 6, but it was day 7, making this day 8/100 of #The100DayProject, and 300 words written. Yay!

But still, I write. Not a lot – I finally got word that a project I pitched was accepted (I feared it wouldn’t be, which is why I decided to spend 100 days on this novel). But the schedule is tight!

I’m still committed to finishing this novel, even if it is one sentence at a time.

For now, they’re still in that booth. 😊

Being Nazi-adjacent means you’re a Nazi. You don’t get to pal around with them then act innocent.
A much more productive Day 6/100 for #The100DayProject with 900 words written. The scene takes place in a diner, my two protagonists sitting across from each other in a booth like this, plotting their next time-travel move. (And maybe falling in love?)
