Honestly, posting is helping me stick with this challenge, so I'm staying with it.
For day 10/100 (yeah!) of #the100dayproject, I wrote 1051 words, when I felt like writing ZERO. It's the small wins...
Day 6/100 of #The100DayProject was spent editing. I know I should wait until I am ādoneā with a complete first draft, but my brain was having a hard time focusing (I just received word that a work proposal was accepted and I am quite excited). So something was better than nothing.
Just an accountability post today. (And a picture of a bouquet of flowers I found tossed against a wall on my morning wall. I bet thereās a story thereā¦hopefully not too tragic).
The WDW Princess Half Marathon took place today. I didnāt run it; rather, I was home procrastinating writing and doom scrolling (as usual).
So for day 5/100 I managed to write 300 words. And Iām sharing my ājumpā picture from the time I did run this race back in 2017 (feels like forever ago)!
1100 words written for day 4/100 of #The100DayProject after many hours of procrastinating.
I am using this question, from āThe Book of Questionsā in a conversation between my two main characters. I think itās such an interesting way to learn about someone; both what they want to know, and in what direction (past or future, inward or outward) they are most curious š.
Day 3/100 of #The100DayProject was 900 words for a scene that I realized today is the reason I have stalled on this project. It is a āfalling in loveā scene, but Iāve never written one before. Stories Iāve written only ever included people already in love, or falling out of it. This is such a challenge.
Anyways, this is a picture of my Daruma doll, who has been waiting since 2019 for me to finish this and give him his eye š³. Fingers crossed it happens soon!!
Day 2/100 of #The100DayProject was spent pouring over my outline. This is a time-travel story, but the time jumps are just year to year so itās been a challenge to make sure all the small details work.
Rather than posting a picture of that mess (š), I am sharing a key image from my āinspirationā file for this story. Taken at the break of dawn on a trail near my home, where Iāve run, hiked, and walked many many magical miles.
