Recently my mother in law moved in with us, and brought her service dog, this big old potato Mia. My cat, Bean, is older and very much used to being a solitary animal, so I was worried about the change in dynamic. Right now they've both laid down on the couch with me, on separate sides but they're being SO good. It really makes me happy knowing Bean feels safe around Mia.

So, crazy thing happened this morning. I'm listening to Behind the Bastards on the way to work, right. Learning about cults and stuff, as one does. They mention a restaurant they opened to recruit people, because that's a thing cults do. I recognized the name immediately because a few weeks ago a pamphlet for the exact fucking place wound up in one of my pallets at work.

This is what happened to my chocolate bar on my drive home from work (~20 minutes). Fucking hate summer man
