Picked up the Pokémon TCG again recently after feeling extremely burnt out on Yugioh. It's genuinely so much fun and a whole hell of a lot less stressful.

Was unsure what to eat for dinner, I grabbed a container from the freezer that I thought was chili. It was in fact marinara and meatballs. So I guess I'm having spaghetti.
It's an odd feeling to actually feel hopeful going into this election. I'm actually excited at the idea of a Harris/Walz victory, and in a way that isn't just "at least we didn't get the actual unhinged fascist." I'm well aware that Harris is not a perfect candidate, but a perfect candidate simply does not exist. What I do have for the first time in 8 years is hope that this country does, in fact, have the capacity to turn shit around. So that's nice.
Flying today strengthened my stance that I am never having children
It's my last night in #stpaul and I can't sleep, so here goes. It may sound a bit silly, but this work conference really reinspired my passion for my job. I often coin myself a humble lettuce merchant, but I really do care about the work and believe that I put good into my community and the world. And at the same time I see a future for me in my field where I can live comfortably and support me and mine. And I think that's all a fellow can really ask for in a job.
