Great news for our community, and thanks to the Omaha Public Power District staff who have worked to achieve this milestone. More distributed energy projects will bring value to people in our community, and is increasingly proving to be beneficial to the grid under both normal operations and during times of stress.

Proud of the work I did to lead approval of an important set of projects which will help our #PublicPower utility continue to meet the needs of our customers and be reliable, affordable, and increasingly environmentally sensitive.

Texas is not the only state where anti-renewable policy can harm rural economic development, make energy more expensive, and increase carbon pollution.

It is critical that state and local policy be aligned with to accelerate the clean energy transition.
