You can liven up a boring family party by teaching small children to say words that sound like swearwords but aren't, then aiming them at the easily offended. My favourite word to teach them is "parabolics"

Half an hour of meditation helped. I often forget to do that, then I always say the same thing, 'I must do that more often...' Then the next time I get worked up, I've forgotten again.

I work for a sewage company. During my recent colonoscopy the doctor asked what I did for a living. I said the same as you, rooting round peoples shit all day but for far less pay I imagine. She didn't laugh. An even more awkward 40 mins followed.
Hmm. I don't think they did my cancer screening on Monday. According to what I've since found out, they're checking other stuff such as liver function etc. I need a separate kit from somewhere else. Oh well

As Monday approaches, I feel weirdly calm.

I've no idea when I'll get the results, and that's the part that I'm avoiding thinking about.

It could be something simple such as a food allergy. I'll keep that in mind, because cancer is what happens to someone else... that's how it always felt until now.

After showering in the gym, I turn the shower off, turn the temperature down to minimum and point the shower head directly at where the user will stand when they turn the shower on.
I've no idea how many people, if any, I catch. But I'm not going to stop doing this.
