Hmm. What are you up to, G-WKTO?

Blast. I managed to drop my pocket trumpet and put a small, soft dent in the bell bow. Grr.
Still, it’s not a major dent and the purpose of this trumpet was to use it to practice and cart around so I don’t damage my fancy horn but it’s still irritating. #clumsy

The current furore around perfectly reasonable comments made by a retired footballer reminds me of the hypocrisy that makes me glad I no longer work for the BBC (Corporation, not the Company…I’m not *that* old!)
Even better is the irony embedded in the Broadcasting House wall…

Well, that’s interesting. Walked to work this morning with a banana in my pocket (this is not the start of a joke, BTW) and a spare battery for my HT. At some point the banana leaked onto the battery and in less than an hour has corroded one of the charger-side contacts quite badly! Beware bananas! It cleaned up OK with a fibreglass pencil but has taken off the bright plating leaving it as brass.

This morning I can see Snowdon from here.

In order to reduce the use of paper cups and plates I opted for these recyclable ones instead so they can just go in the bin. Obviously the napkin goes in a different bin and I shall take the cutlery home for next time.
