@peejmaybe Hope he enjoyed the ridiculous prices of cartridges! Not that anything has really changed in the meantime for Nintendo pricing! I got a PS1 launch day from Toys 'R' Us with the "fantastic" Streetfighter The Movie game bundled with it. Loading times weren't its biggest problems!
@Blerkotron @murbs Jeez I pop on here for a quick look, I'm pretty much all Bluesky these days, and see this outrage! I mean it's true but still. 🙂
@peejmaybe they gave away millions of copies of it for free during the pandemic so for a lot of people paying a tenner for an upgrade could well be the first time they've ever paid anything for it if they do upgrade.
Nice to see IOI are charging a quid less for the PSVR2 upgrade for Hitman though.
@peejmaybe It was pretty unusual how long and noisy it was here, just seemed to go on and on and on.
@peejmaybe Had an absolute downpour with a ridiculous amount of rain and lots of thunder a couple of hours ago in Hampshire. Looking outside at the bright sunshine it's like it never happened.

@Blerkotron Doesn't seem really possible it's been that long. Not that I visit as much as I used to since the forum was shutdown. @murbs "it's better than the movie" asks which one, there's been three only one called "I Am Legion" and it's the one least like the book!
@peejmaybe There was about enough material in it for a TV movie not an 8 part 5 hour series. Having two flashback episodes to the same event with nothing that couldn't have been done in one was incredibly self-indulgent. The writing was not great and you can't coast on the sabre fights being well done.
Also killing off the biggest name you've got in the show in the first five minutes is frankly bizarre.
@peejmaybe probably best not to try emulating what I did when I first saw it in the game, climbing to the top and jumping off and swinging away before I hit the ground.
