I know Mastodon *intends* to be different from Twitter. But is it? Really?
One of many psychically damaging results from a search for "fundies"
"Does dating an addict mean you can’t have a healthy relationship?" No, but it's unlikely.
"Does [it] mean [they're] a bad person?" If a person consistently and selfishly harms everyone around them, would you say they're a bad person?
"But it does mean that your relationship survival may require extra vigilance because drugs and alcohol can take over a person’s life." Why should you have to spend the rest of your life in fear they will relapse?
