I don't care.
What I care about is his administration doing nothing meaningful about climate change and enabling the genocide in Gaza. Thousands of people are dying right now, and billions more will die in the future, and I should be upset about one guy going free.
Cause and effect is the heart of storytelling, but I've tried to resist this because part of horror is its unreasonableness: the killer that picks victims at random, the demon that possesses the innocent, the supernatural event or monster that is never explained. But randomness is not a story.
Big plan today: expanding the description in my horror novel, The Queen in Yellow, and landscape drawing practice using Procreate.
