In 1969 the corrupt President Nixon was president, the U.S. could not afford universal healthcare but did find the money to go to the moon while waging a war in Vietnam.

In 2026 the corrupt President Trump is president, the U.S. still cannot afford universal healthcare but does find the money to go to the moon while waging a war in Iran.

Everyone wants to get rid of Trump, but I am starting to think we should give him a third term and get

— Iceland in the EU
— Britain rejoining the EU
— Norway fully joining the EU
— All EU countries switching to European weapons systems
— Laws against US surveillance systems in Europe
— An end to European collaboration with American NSA
— More people switching to Mastodon to get away from Zuckerberg and Musk
— Rise of European streaming services
— Full bankruptcy of Tesla

(Joking, but still…)

I do not think Americans realise the far reaching economic consequences of having elected Donald Trump.

While the Danes have elected a new parliament which may push for less military purchases from the U.S., the citizens of Denmark have now presented two new citizen petitions: One requiring parliament to make it illegal to use Peter Thiel's Palantir AI surveilance software, and another one preventing the use of American technologies in our national health systems.
