I was thinking about getting a UV printer, but after watching a bunch of videos about them, they sound like a pain in the butt, I have been making mostly drink coasters for my Etsy shop, so I decided to test UV resin on a slate drink coaster with a holographic butterfly sticker, after the resin was cured, I heated a cup of water in the microwave to 160F and set it on the coaster for 30 minutes, unfortunately it stuck and left a small mark. #etsy #resin #resinart

Where I live the water often has the taste and smell of "strong" chlorine, like a pool, we needed to use water filters since the 1980s, its bad!! but that's one of the "poor" states in "Merica"

Anyone know a good job for someone that has Autism , ADHD, and learning disabilities with numbers and letters ❓, my disabilities make it hard to do any sort of math and writing, and I have trouble with social settings, I went to collage in the early 2000s for computer repair, unfortunately computer repair jobs have mostly disappeared, and I was never able to finish collage because of my learning disabilities, BTW it took over 20 minutes to write this. #job_hunting #unemployment #jobhunting
Anyone remember (mp3car.com), I made my own CarPC back in the early 2000s, it had an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ CPU, Nvidia 440 MX AGP Video Card, 1GB of memory, and 100GB hard drive, the OS was Windows XP Pro SP3 and the front end was Road Runner / Ride Runner, it had a 800x600 resolution touchscreen, I was mostly using this for GPS and no longer needed it by 2009, BTW the vibration and speaker magnet never hurt the vertically mounted hard drive. #mp3car #carpc

Another resin fail, kinda of, I had made some nice butterflies on a cutting machine using holographic vinyl and then placed them inside some resin coasters I was making, I was having fun making them, and made a lot of them, it was not until they were finished I realized that the pattern of the resin mold keeps you from seeing the butterflies very well when viewed from the top, however I still like them. #etsy #resin #resinart
Another resin fail, I sometimes use a 2.5 gallon pressure pot for resin work, and one time I left the pressure pot sealed over night and opened it the next morning, unfortunately it had only been 8 hours, and not 12 hours, for some reason the apple jar had large air bubbles between the resin and the mold, and the jar was still soft, so I set it on a heat mat before de-molding, but after that the apple jar was covered in large dimples #etsy #resin #resinart
Back in 2015 I was playing the Subnautica Early Access Builds, I loved that game, they had a tool in the game called "Terraformer tool" and it allowed you to add and remove dirt and rock, and I used it to build bases everywhere, even on top of the crashed and burning Aurora spacecraft. #subnautica #pc_game #pc_gaming
Sometimes you make nice art only to find out later there are problems, here are some of my fails, none are sticky, thankfully, however everyone of them is rubber like, I believe the cause was not using the "exact" ratio of resin and hardener, I noticed some of the rubber like drink coasters will stick to each other but nothing else so used sheets of adhesive cork, I had made them to sell in my Etsy shop, but now I will likely need to sell them locally at a discount #etsy #resin #resinart
Almost 20 years ago I was driving to visit friend in Monticello, and just happen to notice how beautiful the sunset looked that afternoon, I was passing through an area on Highway 65 in Grady Arkansas, just outside of Pine Bluff, and there were huge open farm fields on both sides of the highway, I pulled over to take a picture and watch the sunset, has I was taking the picture I realized that the roof of my car was reflecting the sunset and looked like water from a lake. #photography
