@n6utc don't look too closely while I am on the air. I am usually panic stricken.😆
Been hanging out in the lower part of the bands lately. I have been activating K3Y/7 for SKM. Lots of fun for a CW newbie like me.

New grid on satellite. Made it to 550 grids. Thanks to N5UC for the cold grid of BQ30!
@va3ekr Just to make it as confusing as possible, I need to add the Canadian prefix as the suffix on my call. IE WY7AA/VE3.😀 It is very easy to do, just harder to write it down. Looking forward to spending a bunch of time in CA!
@wd9ewk headed to Newfoundland via the Labrador Highway and back through NS. I hope to put a few grids and a few parks on the air as I have time.
For those US hams that have operated in Canada in the past, are there any unique rules that I am missing when operating in CA? I have read through the RAC rules, and it appears that I need to ID with the location prefix after my call. Otherwise things seem to be the same. I plan to do POTA SSB, FT-8, CW and some Satellites, so nothing too out of the ordinary. And help would be appreciated.
Some very interesting presentation about WWV recently at the WWV ARC meetings. Lots of history and theory presented. Check out the WWV ARC YouTube channel.

YouTube@croyle And, most stations have very limited internet, so I would suspect that they might not upload quickly.
@croyle I have seen that station on the air, but I have not caught them yet. Neumayer III is over on the peninsula side of the continent. I did see on the POTA site that there are several bases (including Neumayer III) on the Ice that submit to POTA. I guess I will move my idea a few notches up the to-do list. Great catch on your part!
