For those US hams that have operated in Canada in the past, are there any unique rules that I am missing when operating in CA? I have read through the RAC rules, and it appears that I need to ID with the location prefix after my call. Otherwise things seem to be the same. I plan to do POTA SSB, FT-8, CW and some Satellites, so nothing too out of the ordinary. And help would be appreciated.
@WY7AA yeah it’s dead simple just append with /VE1 etc. might want to give a breeze through rbr4 as they do have slightly different band use rules than Part 97 does. 97.305 limits us on emission types formally, from what I gather, they don’t do that. https://ised-isde.canada.ca/site/spectrum-management-telecommunications/en/licences-and-certificates/regulations-reference-rbr/rbr-4-standards-operation-radio-stations-amateur-radio-service
