I'm watching Alien: Covenant and the pilot just asked the spaceship AI how close they could get to the storm in the planet's atmosphere.
The AI answered 80 kilometres, which I assume at this point is a confidently wrong answer, probably pulled from an unattributed blogpost systems away about a different ship, different atmosphere, and different storm.

Moxon, Verified Duck 🦆Isn't it interesting that every killing by every cop is just a single bad apple that should never be thought to spoil the bunch, while every protest by and on behalf of marginalized people must be flawlessly perfect, or all participants deserve the brutality the police exist to deliver to them?
@k0in How far is the antenna radiator from the receiver? I've got all attic dipole that gets into my audio, but when I switch to the vertical 100 ft from the shack, the problem goes away
