Kant talked about utopian "Perpetual Peace" in the context of globalization requiring so-called peace treaties. I don't remember anything about what to do about the breaking of such treaties.

People have different root causes for their positions. My atheism came from a quiet realization. My partner came to it out of tragedy.

Neither of us are Hitchens.

I think Hitchens would have been a blistering preacher had it gone differently.
