Not sure AI is there yet
@scottjshapiro The answer appears to be correct. Am I missing something?
@zepfhyr @scottjshapiro if this barber doesn’t shave himself, then he should be shaved by the barber that shave those who do not shave themselves. Basically there is no answer to the question. Both assumptions lead to contradictions.
@Chibchacum @scottjshapiro Thanks. I wound up looking it up and recognized what I was missing, but this is a much simpler explanation than those I found online. 😂
@zepfhyr @scottjshapiro if the barber does not shave himself, then he is included in the group of people he does shave
@scottjshapiro But it answers with the solid conviction of a 15 year old boy in a Social Studies class who has just finished reading a synopsis of an Ayn Rand novel online.
@richard_merren @scottjshapiro Which means it is definitely ready for the internet.
@scottjshapiro To be fair, this is called the Barber's Paradox for a reason.

@scottjshapiro

Why would someone who shaves themselves go to a barber for a shave?

@scottjshapiro so much for trying to bring an artificial intelligence to its knees with a logical paradox. would bring many sci-fi plots to a quick end.
@scottjshapiro all it does is Russell up some existing content

@scottjshapiro
If only he had realized he was waxing paradoxical! Get it?!? Wax...

I'll see myself out.
