This kitty is a #AccFoster cat from #NYCACC, Animal Care Centers of New York City. His name is Cloud. He’s not yet up for adoption, but he will make a purrfect pet once he is. He’s been with us since Wednesday & he’s such a sweet, beautiful boy!

Early modernist. Also tried to set up @VCP @ mastodon.social. No idea what i'm doing here, but hoping i will figure it out.
And before that Sparkle. The first two were adopted after four and three months, respectively. I miss them both a bit, but easier than saying bye to Memo, knowing they have happy days ahead in new homes. I hope it helps me learn how to let go & deal with liss and change. But mostly I just love #cats & happy to have a visitor when #NYCACC has limited space.
Before Cloud, I fostered Luxray, the most beautiful kitty in the world (imho), also through #NYCACC.
Fostering with #NYCACC has been a very good experience for me after we had to put our 13 year old cat Memo to sleep in January. If you live in the 5 boroughs, you can sign up to foster as long as you are over 18. There are online orientations every month! I now understand that a lot of people’s confusion about Mastodon stems from the Social Instance being slammed: their home timeline not loading—just slowness that nobody is used to…so they assume it’s not working or they are missing something! on this instance, everything is faster than on my other account! #fedi
