This kitty is a #AccFoster cat from #NYCACC, Animal Care Centers of New York City. His name is Cloud. He’s not yet up for adoption, but he will make a purrfect pet once he is. He’s been with us since Wednesday & he’s such a sweet, beautiful boy!
Fostering with #NYCACC has been a very good experience for me after we had to put our 13 year old cat Memo to sleep in January. If you live in the 5 boroughs, you can sign up to foster as long as you are over 18. There are online orientations every month! You can sign up for one that’s taking place next weekend & pick out a friend to foster right after that! https://www.nycacc.org/get-involved/foster

Before Cloud, I fostered Luxray, the most beautiful kitty in the world (imho), also through #NYCACC.
And before that Sparkle. The first two were adopted after four and three months, respectively. I miss them both a bit, but easier than saying bye to Memo, knowing they have happy days ahead in new homes. I hope it helps me learn how to let go & deal with liss and change. But mostly I just love #cats & happy to have a visitor when #NYCACC has limited space.
