Feeling pretty good about my list. Plus it was a pretty good list of 100 songs overall.

I am disappointed that TISM (and Peter Coombe) didn't make the list, but there was some stiff competition.

One of the neat things about cathedrals is that it's so easy to get even a pretty decent photo of them. They're designed from the outset to be impressive and awe-inspiring, with even the smallest details contributing to an almost overwhelming sense of grandeur.

It was especially fun coming across this cathedral - Saint Peter's in Adelaide, SA - having recently finished reading Ken Follet's excellent Pillars of the Earth novel. I just wish I could remember more of the bits about specific structural elements.

A while back I got to visit the north coast of NSW for work. By the end of the day I was about finished, but instead of going straight back to the hotel I visited the beach instead.

There was a high wind and nobody there. For the longest time it was just me hunting for photo angles among the dunes. I've never felt more like I was alone at the end of the world.

Ten out of ten. Highly recommend.
