When at the cabin, we can't just toss the pups out into a fenced yard to do their business in the morning on their own like we do back home, so we have to actually get dressed and take them out to do their business.

Sometimes, if you time things just right, having to put on pants is worth it!

This is smashing from 1985!  "I asked 25 year old Terry Hall if he'd like to have a go at presenting his own show. There were just the two of us in studio 2 at Piccadilly Radio with a pile of records and a delightful shy and slightly nervous Terry. I played the records in real time, and encouraged him to tell his story and he gets more confident as the show progresses." Timmy Mallett

Terry Hall Easter special Piccadilly Radio, Manchester TX: 8th April 1985 21:00-23:00

I asked 25 year old Terry Hall if he'd like to have a go at presenting his own show. There were just the two of us in studio 2 at Piccadilly Radio with a pile of records and a delightful shy and slightly nervous Terry. I played the records in real time, and encouraged him to tell his story and he gets more confident as the show progresses. Enjoy the revelation of his inspirations and a personal insight into the processes of his recording. There are some joyous surprises coming up The tape has been in the loft since 1985.

I love Christmas Lights. I sometimes think life would be improved if we had fairy lights all year round.
Aren't spiders amazing?
A small portion of the Lagoon Nebula, 4,350 light-years from Earth in the constellation Sagittarius, holds thousands of stars. @NASAHubble searched the nebula for the type of disks that give rise to planets. https://go.nasa.gov/3V2UHzl

The growing popularity of Mastodon might partly explain why Twitter is now blocking many links to Mastodon servers and suggesting the URLs are "harmful" or include malware. Twitter also suspended the official account for Mastodon

"Twitter's former head of trust and safety has fled his home due to an escalation in threats resulting from Elon Musk's campaign of criticism against him, a person familiar with the matter told CNN." https://cnn.it/3Wb4BQl HT @Infrogmation #MuskIsABully
In 1933, Nazis led torchlit mob into the square and looted the library of the adjoining -Universitat. 40,000 people cheered as they burned over 20,000 books by mainly Jewish, communist, liberal and social-critical authors. Many years later, a panel of glass was set into the ground to mark the spot. It’s a window. Leaning over you can look into a room below. The room is white, lined from floor to ceiling with plain shelves—an empty library. The sort of world we’d live in if the fanatics had won.

One of my most favourite quotes ever, I think of often it is so apt.

"We die to each other daily. What we know of other people is only our memory of the moments during which we knew them. And they have changed since then. To pretend that they and we are the same is a useful and convenient social convention which must sometimes be broken. We must also remember that at every meeting we are meeting a stranger."
