She really is a lovely creature. BTW, I am glad to be able to say thank you for "Fish Whistle." Not only did "The Soul of a Dog" make me weep, but the title essay made me laugh for 10 minutes and so hard that I was grateful that I had been reading in the bathroom.

My parents used to take me to the Clark theater when I was but a wee lass, back in the fifties. I loved that the titles changed every day and IIRC, it was always a double feature.

And then we'd walk over to Henricis for dinner, and up to State and Randolph to do a little shopping at that place on the corner that had lost their lease a gazillion years earlier and was always going out of business.
