I started watching My Roommate is a Detective, and one scene had me fleeing to tumblr for gifs...which I still haven't found.
However I *did* find this absolute gem of a review!!!!😍
This is by the same author as Love Between Fairy and Devil (#苍兰诀), Jiu Lu Fei Xiang. She also wrote Back from the Brink (#护心 ) & Love you Seven Times (#七时吉祥).
So there's a certain predictable expectation to her xianxia's, but that's not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned.
There will be trials and tribulations for our lovers, humour and snarky offsiders, romance, and broken hearts. Massive battles and far too many, far too pretty people floating around the scenery.
Did I mention the music.
