I get that the GOP likes to pretend that MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech is a call for colorblindness (it's not), citing the "content of their character" line, but here's a little secret:

If you're the type of person who feels the need to cling to that line, free from context, then the "content of your character" is pretty apparent, and it's not looking good for you.

The first intersection shows what you can do, but `cool2` and `cool3` actually show why I do it. If you have the intersection of collections of 2 different types where 1 extends the other, the stdlib one will give you the super class, while this version gives you the sub class which all items in the set should have anyway.

#FirstAmendment #FreeSpeech It’s time for me to update by “Free Speech Tropes” post, written previously for Popehat and Atlantic, that identifies common slogans/cliches/arguments about the First Amendment that are wrong or misleading — like “fire in a crowded theater” and “hate speech is not free speech.” I have some new ones to add to the mix (like “it’s in the school handbook so it’s not a First Amendment issue”) but taking suggestions for other common bad arguments/tropes/slogans.
