#Skateboarding was the beginning of everything. In my new zine #ParadiseLost, interviewees describe how the hardcore #punk scene in Sarasota started with skaters and surfers. Jake Loomis, now a high school teacher and potter, pictured below as a teen, describes how he went from breakdancing to skating and then found punk. I've been teaching  @Robert how to skateboard for two years now, and he's getting really good! He's now teaching me how to breakdance and do parkour! 

It feels great to mutually teach each other skills.
