@anthonyfloyd That’s really too bad, it was always fun to stumble on some performance there (hula dancing, line dancing, bands, etc.). I kinda hope it doesn’t get replaced with some slicked up cactus club vibe.

@daveshea 23 hrs without one (except at work). I miss it maybe 4 times a year. Depending on how fast your stove can heat a small pan (eg for melting butter, little stuff like that) the change can go pretty smooth.

@futurism Such a disastrous UI trend coming to an end. I’ll never forget a presentation by a designer who worked on the Prius where this stuff started, gloating about the animated energy diagram on the dashboard and not understanding why a room of UI designers were horrified.
