@daveshea 23 hrs without one (except at work). I miss it maybe 4 times a year. Depending on how fast your stove can heat a small pan (eg for melting butter, little stuff like that) the change can go pretty smooth.

@Todd ours broke in December so I’ve been picking up the tricks for reheating as we’ve been waiting to see if we miss it. Saves a bit of time and harder to do well with some types of leftovers, but feeling pretty confident we won’t be looking back on this one.

Bonus: it was an over the stovetop model with an anemic fan, so we had the chance to upgrade to a Cyclone hood fan.

@daveshea they’re definitely handy. I don’t dislike them so much as never felt like I *needed* it and couldn’t justify the space.

The hood fan must be a nice change, hopefully fewer smoke detector moments.
