New York Dem lost the most House seats of any state in the country in 2022.
The Governor vowed to fix the broken state party so that we can get those seats back and maybe more in 2024.
Sadly nothing has changed and we are in great danger of failing to win back those seats. And without them, there is no shot at taking the House.
I'm seeing a lot of International Women's Day posts, and I'm glad to see them.
But you know what, posting once a year in support of women just isn't enough - especially for people who look like me.
What we really need to do is commit to supporting women 365 days/year. And that means:
Equal pay
Equal treatment in the workplace
Allowing women to make their own healthcare decisions
Paid family leave
Flexibility to allow for doctors visits, no childcare, etc.
And so much more
