I’m fairly new to Mastodon but I’ve noticed in the past few weeks, as more newcomers have arrived that Caution or Content Warnings (CW) seem to have reduced significantly. CWs are important - please remember to use them particularly when talking about politics, Covid and the bird site.
There’s plenty of guides and information for newcomers to Mastodon that can provide more detail on CWs and in creating a comfortable and safe environment for all of us in the Fediverse.
Right, so this is very interesting. None of this (points below 👇) appears on my Mastodon app on my iPad. Which is why I asked a question about how to add a CW in the iOS app. It must be something particular or peculiar to iPads as it’s fine on my phone. Curiouser and curiouser.
Went to see Shane Jenek (Courtney Act) in conversation at the newly erected(!) Pleasuredome at the Brisbane Powerhouse last night. Shane is a Meeanjin hometown boy so it was a triumphant return, with a packed house. Thoughtful, open and witty. It was an evening well spent. This was the sunset before the show.
I went away for 10 days, knowing that the zucchini were about to take off. This is what I came home to 😆
This variety is Cocozelle - they can stand up to some heat and humidity. I’ll be turning this lot into a zucchini relish as the next lot are coming through and will probably be ready on Sunday, to go into a zucchini slice. I’ve thinly sliced the small one for lunch today, as a salad - rice vinegar, sprinkle of sugar and sesame oil. #CampHill
