@atpfm what do the neural engine cores in Apple’s chips actually do? They spent years boasting about how the neural engines made them leaders in AI (or ML?). Then LLMs came out and it turned out they needed to boost RAM and were massively behind. Were whatever the neural engines for just a technological dead end? #askatp

@caseyliss @imyke suggestion for London to replace the London Eye. Get the Thames clipper from Westminster pier down to Greenwich pier. Fantastic on a sunny day and you get some of the best views of London. Also as a bonus you can have a wander around maritime Greenwich at the end and stand on the GMT line at the observatory

@siracusa @RecDiffs I leave the key in the door because I can’t unlock the door without the key and if there’s a fire in the middle of the night I don’t want to be dealing with finding the key and getting it in the key hole while trying to get out. Hasn’t happened yet but I’d feel REAL dumb if I didn’t do it then passed out from smoke inhalation struggling with the lock.
