What do you mean he's unstoppable? You are superior to him in every way: You are better trained, better equipped, and outnumber him twenty-to-one. Do. Your. Job.
It's odd how recently an indicator for the quality of a TV Show is "you have to watch it". In the sense of "it doesn't alloq side-eyeing with dawdling on your phone."
Once again updating my offer for American friends to sleep on my couch from joking to "somewhat joking".

Wrong Turn 2 is sooo unrealistic. Nobody can kill Henry Rollins.
@dswxyz Hey David, I'm hunting a game of mine called Explore! I apparently wrote in 2010 for Sam Ashwell's Speed IF Wrist Exercise. Would you happen to have a copy?
Discovery of the day: I stumbled upon a website that allows us to explore maps from various games as if we were flying over them. This is an excellent resource for studying level design: https://noclip.website #gamedev #leveldesign #games

My Tidal Daily Discovery just rickrolled me ?!?
Here's something I feel strongly about, but I'm not sure I have a good argument to defend it:
I detest fictional stories set in WWII, especially ones concerning the holocaust. And I mean, well-meaning, right side of history ones. There are probably so many real stories that (still) deserve to be told that making something up (She is an art historian, he is a Jewish jazz pianist, but then oh no Nazis) feels disrespectful and lazy and kins of cheap.
I'd love to hear people's thoughts on this.

On tumblr everyone was livid about this fake photo of a "baby peacock" -- it captured many of the things that worry people about AI art-- the tendency to fill in what people expect, not what is true. The stereotyping, and reversion to archetype. The lost nuance.

But, because of this photo I got to learn that real baby male peacocks "practice" with little tufts of display feathers. Look at these lil boys!

Bard things I'm one of the most talented IF author of all time...
