I lack 27 eth to stake on my own. Instead I've let Coinbase do my staking. I'm pretty happy with the arrangement.

The reading I've done makes it sound like the SEC wants a bunch of disclosures... But they shut Kraken's staking pool down anyway. Seems to me that they want something else.

Context for the #SEC deciding crypto staking is something they should be involved in: https://www.theverge.com/2023/2/9/23593183/kraken-staking-sec-settlement-penalties-crypto-interest
Kraken pays a $30 million fine and shuts down crypto staking in the US

Kraken, a crypto exchange, has agreed to shut down its staking program in the US as part of a settlement with the SEC. It will also pay $30 million in penalties.

Lol, #Ethereum breaks free of fossil fuels, for the most part, and the SEC decides the mechanism they used should be illegal? What the actual hell is going on?

I spent some time learning Solidity over the weekend. I'm not sure I fully understand why the syntax is the way that it is. The tutorial I'm following compares it to JavaScript a lot, but I'm not really seeing the relationship.

Can anyone out there help me wrap my head around this syntax?

If you track crypto this is worth a read (will try to extract key points for a Cliffs Notes version later):

Is it possible to mix regular and tor tabs in the same @brave browser window? I'm not seeing a setting for it. I understand this would have to be an opt-in feature due to potential privacy compromises. #BraveBrowser #TOR

Oh, I asked ChatGPT-3 to write the integration for my bot. Initially, I was terrified by how good the code looked. Then I noticed it was using a library that didn't actually exist. I asked it to correct that. It found a working library and wrote code that didn't work for that library.

So, the robots are coming for us. They're close. But they're not there yet.

Over the weekend I got back on @brave, created a "cool places on TOR" article for friends, got my discord bot talking to @[email protected], and got my first real session of Pathfinder 2e as a player.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm very cool.
