🔻I'm starting to have a penchant for vintage #FountainPens. My latest acquisitions include a Spanish Inoxcrom 77 from 1969 and a Lamy 26P from 1974, both NOS. Gotta say the Lamy, despite being an EF, is a more reliable writer than the Inoxcrom, but I'm very fond of the latter as it was the first Spanish mass-produced pen to be successful at home and abroad. The Inoxcrom is using Kaweco Midnight Blue, the Lamy a generic blue ink that I shall soon change for Parker Solv-X (I've procured bottles in blue-black, permanent blue and permanent black, all new and mostly full.)
I've tested the air travel capacity of one of my Montblanc 146 #FountainPen. The pen was filled with some ink and put inside my checked bag. It arrived at the destination without spilling a single drop of ink. The next flight was made with the pen in my backpack and the result was the same. If you want to fly with a #FountainPen, the MB 146 is a good option.
@voicilefer how was your stay in Lisbon? I managed to escape my meetings and came to Lisbon for the 25 de Abril. Hope you enjoyed the party.
The aerometric filler is stamped with some text that advises me to press several times to fill and it also advises to use good quality ink with the pen.
