@overcastfm I’m having problems with Overcast not automatically playing the next podcast in a playlist. I’m not sure if it’s having issues downloading the next episode. In the previous version of the app, it would stream the podcasts instead of downloading. Thanks for reading this and for making a fantastic app!

Consumer Reports (CR) has released a mobile app (iOS, Android on the way) that shows what data companies collect about you, then allows you to have CR get the data deleted:

Essentially, CR will act as the data ombudsman for anyone who asks them to. I love it.

CR is a non-profit that accepts no advertising or corporate sponsorship, and they have a great reputation. It's a superb choice to take on the data capitalists.

This is my second year as an openly queer teacher, and it has been so hard trying to deal with bullying from both students and parents. How can I go to parents saying their kid is disrespecting me when they also disrespect me? How can I expect my administration to defend me at a private school run by $$$ that parents pay in tuition. #LGBTQIA #Teacher

The nice thing about Mastodon, as far as I can tell, is that I can control my privacy much more. I can make is so people have to request to follow me without that choice forcing only my followers to see replies I make to people who don't follow me.
